Mr Wheatley is a well-established and highly regarded resources company director and executive with a strong track record of delivering shareholder value. His experience encompasses all stages of the exploration and mining life cycle, across listed businesses with market capitalisations ranging from A$5 million up to A$7 billion.
These corporate leadership roles have spanned gold, base metals, battery minerals and clean-energy industries. They have included multiple successful turnarounds and several highly accretive M&A transactions. Prior to his career in the minerals sector, Mr Wheatley gained significant experience in the global investment banking industry.
Mr Wheatley holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering Hons 1) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from West Virginia University.
Mr Hosack is a proven senior mining executive with over 20 years’ experience within the global resources sector. He joined Prospect in 2018 and was instrumental in leading the advancement, feasibility evaluation, early piloting operations and subsequent strong value realisation of the Arcadia Lithium Project in Zimbabwe via its cash sale to Huayou Cobalt in 2022.
Prior to joining Prospect, Mr Hosack held senior managerial and operations roles over +12 years at leading global miner, First Quantum Minerals Ltd. This included lead project management of major infrastructure construction for the Minera Panama Project, including a copper and coal handling port facility, 128km transmission line and 300MW power station. His broader project development, mining and operations experience encompasses northern, central and southern Africa, Europe, Australia and Central America.
Mr Hosack holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) from Essex University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ashcroft Business School (UK), AICD accreditation and relevant professional registrations.
Mr Goldberg has more than 20 years of senior finance and commercial experience. This includes having held several Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles in operating mining businesses across Africa and Australia.
In this capacity Mr Goldberg has led several mining projects through the securement of project financing and development into profitable commercial operations. Prior to joining Prospect, he was CFO for Tiger Resources Limited, a copper developer and producer in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Mr Goldberg is a Chartered Accounting and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.
Mr Fahey has over 40 years’ experience in the global minerals industry. He is a specialist in mining geology, mine development and training.
Prior to joining Prospect, Mr Fahey held the role of Chief Geologist at Delta Gold for 10 years where he was actively involved in the development of the Eureka, Chaka, Globe and Phoenix gold mines. He has also been involved with the development of several major Australian gold projects including Kanowna Belle, Golden Feather, Sunrise and Wallaby.
Mr Fahey currently holds the role of Director at Focus Minerals Ltd and Battery Age Minerals. He was formerly a Director of CSA Global Pty Ltd and a former member of the Joint Ore Reserve Committee (JORC).
Mr Gupta has over 25 years’ experience in international trade and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Delhi.
Mr Gupta manages a Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) registered family office with high-growth investment holdings across the mineral and biotech industries. Within the mining sector, these investments encompass base and precious metals, coloured gemstones, and the broader Electric Vehicle (EV) supply chain, including a major holding in Prospect Resources through Eagle Eye Asset Holdings Pte Limited (Eagle Eye).
Mr Gupta is appointed to the Prospect Board as a nominee of Eagle Eye.Â
Mr Broomfield is a geologist with over 25 years’ experience in the mineral resources and exploration industry.
He has broad experience managing and coordinating teams in the development of projects across a range of commodities. This includes the development of  feasibility studies, technical and economic modelling, appraisals and conducting due diligence for mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions and development proposals.
Mr Broomfield holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) (Honours) degree and a Master of Mineral Economics. He is a member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM).
Mr Maketo is a metallurgical engineer with over 25 years’ experience in mineral processing. He has held various technical and management positions at leading mining companies in Africa and Australia. This has encompassed broad experience in the mining and processing of lithium, diamonds, nickel, copper, platinum, zinc, lead and gold.
Mr Maketo is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Metallurgical) (Honours). He also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Mr Maketo is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
Mr Tyler is a geologist with over 35 years’ experience in the Africa minerals industry. He has worked across a wide variety of African countries and exploration and mining businesses. This includes as a Senior Resource Analyst for Anglo American Corporation, and as Exploration Manager for Anvil Mining, where he led the programme which resulted in the development of the Kinsevere Cu-Co Mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Mr Tyler was a core component of the exploration activities that resulted in Prospect’s delineation, advancement and subsequent sale of the Arcadia Lithium Project in Zimbabwe.
He holds an Honours degree in Mining Geology from the Royal School of Mines and a Master of Engineering in Mineral Resource Estimation from Witwatersrand University.
Mr Winch is a Zimbabwean geologist with extensive experience in the planning, budgeting, implementation and field management of large-scale exploration programs. This includes the spearheading of drilling programs designed for brownfield exploration and resource definition to facilitate mine expansion works.
During the course of a 15-year specialisation in the Platinum group element (PGE) sector, he led the discovery and extension of multiple orebodies and fault structures. This resulted in the expansion of the mineral resource estimate for one of the world’s largest open pit platinum mines in South Africa by an additional 100 million PGE ounces.
Mr Winch holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) (Honours) from Rhodes University, is a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA) and is a SACNASP-registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat).
Mr. Manda is a seasoned investments and corporate finance professional with over 12 years of expertise in mining investments, specialising in deal origination, investment strategy, capital deployment, and investment management, particularly within the Southern African regional market.
Previously at ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc, Mr. Manda spearheaded Portfolio and Business Development functions, playing a pivotal role in significant transactions such as the royalty agreement with First Quantum Minerals Ltd at Kansanshi Mine Plc, the partnership with Kobold Metals for the Mingomba Copper exploration project, and the acquisition of majority shareholding in Mopani Copper Mines from Carlisa Investments Corp.
Before joining Prospect Resources as Country Manager for Zambia, he provided oversight at Mopani Copper Mines, focusing on development, production, and financial performance analysis.
Mr. Manda holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business and Economics from Edith Cowan University (Aus), a Master of Science in Strategic Project Management from Heriot Watt University (UK), and an MBA from the University of Warwick (UK).
